Dr. Chris Buckley
Veterinarian (Owner)
As a San Francisco Bay Area native, Dr. Christopher Buckley has always been passionate about animal welfare. Starting his career with animals at the young age of 13, he worked all throughout his undergraduate at UC Davis, then graduated from North Carolina State University with his DVM. He carries a special interest in soft tissue and orthopedic surgeries.
In 2010, he moved to Southwest Michigan, gaining knowledge and experience working for the Humane Society of W Michigan, Kent County Animal Control, and Richland Animal Hospital.
In 2021, he achieved his dream of owning his own practice. Due to the success at Mosel Animal Clinic, he broadened his scope to include Bluegrass Animal Clinic in 2023.
His care for animals also extends to his employees. He believes in treating everyone who crosses his path with kindness and respect. He strives to keep the family-owned feel of each clinic, making each client, patient, and employee feel like one of the family. Dr. Buckley believes deeply in making our community a better place for people and pets.
Dr. Buckley can be found hiking the trails or at one of the many parks in the Kalamazoo/Richland area with his wife, two boys, and Poodle, Lucy.
